Those are really easy. Look in your book for information about corresponding, alternate interor, and alternate exterior angles.

ok, here's a hint (a BIG one): 3, 7, 1, and 5 are all the same...

2, 4, 6, and 8 are the same...

since you can easily get x from those two equations, (ANOTHER hint: 2x+40=3x+20 solve from there) you can then get 1, 3, 7, and 5. Subtract that measure from 180, because as you can see, any combination of two would lead to 180 degrees (like 5 and 6, 1 and 2, etc.)

do the same for the other equations, if the they end up being different (like in number two)
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

Exactly!
Solve for x.
2x+40=3x+20
If you don’t know that, I guess I(and many others) could do that for you, but you only need pre-algebra for that, I learned it last yr. in pre-algebra (I’m in algebra this yr).

Then of course you fill in for x
2(whatever x is, I won’t tell you)+40
^For angle 1 or 5 or 7 or 3^
Then because you know that line has 180 degrees in it, just do this problem.
180-(angle1,3,5,or 7)
Then u’ll find angle 2,4,6 or 8
Easy peasy (err… since someone doesn’t like that phrase, I forgot who)
Easy… cheesy?
edit: it was wallydawg who hates that phrase  .

Hey, I'm studying little trigonemetry, Math B, already took my SAT's for Hopkins (got a combined score of 1120 btw) and did a bevy of things. I skipped all the easy 'crap' if you will, so yea, and I realized I had HW about an hour before class started, so you know, SONIC RUSh!

Wow, ummm... why do I find it hard to believe you are in trig if you couldn't solve such a simple equation? That's basic algebra, my friend. Just one bit of advice; I wouldn't become a programmer if I were you  .

(< means Angle)

1. Equation: 2x+40 = 3x+20
x = 20
<1 = 80
<2 = 100
<3 = 80
<4 = 100
<5 = 80
<6 = 100
<7 = 80
<8 = 100

2. Equation: 3x+40+2x=180 (Consecutive Interior Angles)
x = 28
<1 = 56
<2 = 124
<3 = 56
<4 = 124
<5 = 56
<6 = 124
<7 = 56
<8 = 124

3. Don't even understand the question. What the hell is m<8 about equal to m<3?

Anyways, this is basic Geometry combined with Algebra 1. I just took a mid-term final on this crap today.
