Is this a good notebook?

I just bought this new notebook for gaming. But I just wanted to ask is it good? Im going to download like WoW,gunbound and like the first counter strike and more!

For any hardcore gaming, you won't get far with that laptop. It has no dedicated graphics processor, just integrated video. This means that any games that require your graphics processor to do a lot of work (like Halo or something) will suffer badly. WoW seems to require a dedicate processor (GeForce 2 or higher?), but I'll leave it up to you to look up the rest.

why not get/build a desktop?

it'll run games way better, laptops arent the best things for gaming

but dont buy a dell desktop! But their desktops are a bit tempremental, the one i use is so damn unstable, and my sister's one crashes all the time for no reason. This might be islotated, i dont know.

anyone happy with their dell?

Kinda odd that I couldn't find any info there that mentioned the graphic chipset. And as for Laptops and gaming, not that great a mix. I have a zv6000 HP series laptop that's about 9 months old the graphics chip in it is a 200M, thats kind of old compared to what's out now. Laptops have too many limitations that deskops can overcome, it's best to save up about $1000 and buy the parts for a gameing PC. Why not make it a Shuttle PC that way its small and portable still.

I have a Dell Latitude C840 laptop with a GeForce 440 Go graphics processor (32mb graphics RAM). It has 512mb of RAM. I'm not sure what the frame rate is, but it runs Doom 3 without any lag well on low quality (its probably 60 FPS or somewhere around that range).

my friend had a dell and he hated it. he switched to an ibm. ibm rocks.
