Whats so bad about the gamecube screens?

Whats so bad about the gc screens? I'm trying to use one and no one else uses them. It's already got the video connection done, and its got two wires for + and -. If anything it'll save some work.
Oh plus, i got it pretty cheeper.

i was going to use one, but the psone screens are cheaper (in the UK)

The PSone screens have a higher quality and also give a better picture when you LED mod them.

They can run on 7.2-8v also, unlike the GC screen which needs 12v.

i thought G-force got one to run from 7.2v. aren't they also not TFT so it blurs when there's fast movement and get dead pixels? there's also no known brightness mod so the LED mod is darker. psone screen is overall just better quality and very thin. RPGTKNick used a gamecube screen in his

Mine runs perfectly at 9 volts. There is no distortion that i know of...
well i'm also trying to use the lowest amount of money, so i don't want to risk breaking a ps1 in a LED mod.
Yeah it doesnt run at 12V im pretty sure. I'm on vacation but i remember there being a regulator attached to a large heatsink inside. I'm sure that means its reducing the 12V to a lower voltage? Why else would it have a regulator.
