Um i'm not doing it or anything but couldn't you just add bens nes video mod to the atari one so it would strengthen it up a bit? Cause that would be a little bit easier than the new one.

It's not really compatible. The NES uses a different setup for outputing video. Also the video mod Ben has in the book is good enough that you can use a PSone screen with it. Also connecting 6 points from the board doesn't sound that bad, when compared to the project as a whole.

Well I dunno never done anything with an atari (wish I had though) just an idea for the heck of it. But I thought that a transistor just amplifies it so I thought that it could work... Meh you live and you learn eh?
