Yes!!! Case distruction of PSone screen!!!/other stuff

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

Yes!!! Case distruction of PSone screen!!!/other stuff

Post by geekbait111 »

Hi, I finally got a PSone screen (official)! I've taken the screws off but still need to destroy the case, it's about 70% complete :D . Anyways the only thing left is the speakers and I was worried I might kill the speakers. My screen's case around my speakers are WAY too annoying. Anyone have any tips (or just how to remove the speaker case carefully)?

Cut it off with an xacto knife... Not too hard really!

oh... guess I shouldn't have been using a chicago cutlery knife  . Anyway, the speakers aren't too fragile that I might... well kill em? That's what I was worried about with the chicago knife :D .

I put a knife under the very edge of the speakers and just popped them out so I could do with them what I wanted and that worked fine.

okeydokey, thankies all! I'll do that either later today or possibly tomorrow (my arms are sore from prying open a PSone screen and doing chores outside)

ok I got it off :D . Note the /other stuff in the title, anyways I only have one question that's fairly simple. that is:
-If you take the speakers off but leave the headphone jack, will you still beable to hear sound?

oh yah stupid me  . That's like saying will 2+2=4 if you don't bother putting in the equal sign? 2+24???? Anyway that's good for less amps. Ooh another question :D... nah, I need to take a better look in my screen before I tell you this... (a.k.a the front part of this). I'll probably tell you this question in around 15 hrs.
edit: nevermind about question, I figured it out (for once)...
