free music to listen to

have you ever heard of www.radioblogclub.com ? you can go there and listen to pretty well any popular song you want to. you cant keep the songs, but if youre at school or something and just want to listen to some music, its pretty sweet. and theres no limit of songs per hour like there is on other 'legal' radio sites.

One site I like is http://pandora.com/. You can just type in an artist, and it'll show you some music by them, and then other music based on what it thinks you would "like". It's mostly accurate on figuring out what other music you might like, but either way, free music to listen to! The only drawback is that you can only skip songs so many times in an hour...

yeah ive tried pandora too. its decent. but you cant search for and listen to specific songs

For those of you who have Macs, you can download them too. All you need is some sort of application that can record via a mic. Not telling how, but (hint) check out Rogue Amoeba for the other half. Only complaint I have is that the songs are at a low bitrate. I'm not quite what some call an audiophile, but they need to sound good, you know?

Not sure iif this legal or not, I've never done it to material that had an apparent copyright, but when I want a short sound clip that I can't download I just plug a cable in from my output to input and record.

With audacity you can record what is going out so you dont need to plug output into the input.
