Casio TV-1400

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

Casio TV-1400

Post by Eskimo »

After browsing the internet for about 4 hours, I realized that perhaps I should just ask, regardless of how many people might beat me over the face with a silicon stick for a dumb question but...

I got a Casio TV-1400 off a friend and I wanna know if its worth taking the screen from.

apparently it was released in 1990, which is why there probably isnt any information on the internet about it.

the thing looks big too, and youd need the controller board (which is probably big) to use the screen... and i kinda dobut that it has a/v inputs.

and it might also be a passive-matrix screen (would they make a tv with a passive screen?... but its also so old!)

so yeah i dunno. probably not worth it, especially when psone and hipgear screens are like 20 bucks
