Have you guys seen the Lenovo Tapes yet? Yes, I personally think they are completely fake, but they are so cool!

That's pretty cool, even though it's OBVIOUS that the stuff is fake.

I've looked at each frame of the 3rd video. I'm no expert, but I am pretty sure that they are real. Every frame is perfect from the shadows to the robot. Everything is perfect. I cannot zoom in on the laptop during the jet pack fall, but I'm pretty sure you can see the jets come out.

Just one thing. These are on video tapes correct? How did he get such good quality out of a video tape and a capture card? Why didn't they put them on DVD? Also, I notice that the robot stand shifts during the laptop change. The opening of the grip sequence seems to be exaclt the same.

Of course they're fake, guys. Stop being stupid. The motion of the laptop and the robot are FAR too fluid to be of the physical world; plus, they are slightly more pixelated than the surrounding area. And about that coffee cup spill; let's take a look at the properties of liquid for a second. Liquid is defined as a subastance that has a definite volume, but no definite shpae. It is feasibly impossible for a liquid (in this case coffee) to have such a large starting volume (in the cup) and end off with a smaller amount on the laptop. Also, the force of gravity acting on the liquid, as well as the logical larger definite volume, would cause a REAL liquid to run off the laptop. The first one, by the way, is just plain obvious.

Not all of the coffee spilled, the cup wasn't even half full.

and how does the laptop know that coffee is coming at it? and what if youre typing when that happens... does it chop your fingers off?

jets? honestly. thats just retarded. what happens when one of the jets ignites your carpet?

even if this technology exists (it dosent, except possibly heliodisplays), its pretty impractical.

Ya, I just showed my dad them, and we laughed for 10 minutes, also exchanging thoughts on how this couldn't even be real in Star Wars.

Nice special effects for the jets, though.

Yeah the jets are most definatly fake because how could it tell if it was coming close to the ground that fast the processor would kill itself...

On top of that, who says the sheild doesn't have something to keep the liquid trapped, lol.

Since I believe the first two probably exist somewhere, I'll comment.

The projection would also obviously be like a webcam, and I believe in the projection.

The coffee spill vid would have the cam seeing the liquid fall.

The jet one? I wish it were true but i doubt it. You never know, the US government did say there was some stuff in IBM they didn't want Lenovo to own, lol.
