power switch

Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

power switch

how do i wire the power switch so that is is always on?

would i just wire the kinda like

O---O O---O
O---O O---O

? or something else?

if you look at the bottom of your board, the 12v and 3.3v lines are labelled. follow them to the switch. at the switch, they will go into the swtich, and then come out on the next ajdacent pin. the 3.3v line uses 6 pins (iirc) and the 12v line only uses two. its pretty clear how to bridge the contacts so that the system is "always on"

yeah it's pretty easy to see which ones to bridge. that diagram will work but 2 of the connections on 3.3v are unnesessary because you only need to jump 1 of each voltage

Looking at the switch, I can now see that it is a 4PST (or if you like, a QPST). 4 pole, single throw.
