Gunblade

Hey, Im Making Squalls Gunblade from FF8 for a showcase.
For the Gun part im using a Revolver Cap gun from a dollarstore (Gonna buy caps), and for the Sword Part, I dont know what to use, Must be light weight.

Wood... Styrofoam....
Any ideas?

Picture of Gunblade, I know the Revolver Capgun wont match the Handle of the Real Gunblade... but eh.

I need something easy, as I cant Vacuum Form.

Vaccum Form a plastic sword around the revolver.

I say plastic. keep it all the same material (roughly)

Then melt the end and jam it into the revolver.

I may go with Wood or styrofoam, Is its easy to Get and easy to use.
