well it could do that... or it could (the card) hit someone in the face :D ...well not so much :D as :x . If it reached max velocity who knows what it could do... maybe around 100-200mph (probably), it could be pretty painful.
edit: but then again that's really rare, so do it, do it, do it!

Umm, I just carve my email in various places throughout the city. That is, if I'm not already scrawling "Kilroy was Here" all over the place.

@Kurt_
or hydrogen (Hindenburg Style!)

Just imagine if some idiot decides to fire tracer rounds at it! :lol:

Any-who properly weighted balloons with even simple mechanical guidance systems can travel many thousands of miles if launched in the correct directions. just Google on the Japanese balloon attacks during WWII.

Max velocity would only be about 120-160mph (for skydivers). And it's plastic, so it could get blown around a bit.

EDIT:I'm not trying to sound all high and proper, but that's just something I learned today!

Yes, but if I remember the only casualties were some idiots in California who found a crashed one and decided to mess with it, which exercise ended as well as could be expected....

Other than that I think they may have started a few forest fires.

That sounds a lot like the US's "Bat Bomb". They attached small time delayed fire bombs onto hundreds of bats and would release them in a bomb that opened up over a town. They would hide in houses and then FOOSH! Fire all over the place. I don't think they ever used it though. Very MacGyver-ish though, gotta give points for that.

Anyways, this is a fun idea. Not really a point to it though, unless you're hoping a hot girl will find it and start emailing you. You can even buy helium in small tanks at places like wal-mart. Tell us how it works out, K?
