Interest Check; PSone vacuum molded cases for sale?

Called a local plastic/metal distributor and got a price quote on Polyethylene. A 4'x8' 1/8" white sheet costs $36, which is a pretty big piece and quite a bit of money for a case. Then again, I realized some people don't have the money, resources, or will to make a vacuum mold. I know I wouldn't have decided to do so if I didn't have a high school woodshop class to make the mold...

I'm making a 8"x10"x1.55" wooden mold with bevels for the controller, grips, places for the R/L buttons to be placed into, the whole wazoo. This thing already has 3 hours of sanding and routing put into it, and will have the bevels ready by the end of Friday. If it's only that big and I can make 12 entire cases.

That leaves 11 vacuum formed cases that are very comfortable to hold and can take 5" PSone LCD screens. Would anyone be interested in buying one for $10 shipped?

I am nearly finished with the porting (just shy of a good case, surprise surprise). I'm replying in hopes to generate more interest; hopefully some pictures of this case will be posted soon

Sup bros. Just a little update... I will have all of the pieces almost finished by tomorrow. Pictures will probably happen on Sunday.

As far as features, the top includes five 1/8" bevel raises...

1 for D-pad and left analog stick.
1 for XSTC buttons and right analog stick.
1 for start button
1 for select and analog.
1 for a Sony brand 5" LCD screen

Here's a jig I used for the bandsaw and router. Note that it doesn't have the bevels for the start and select, with are just small squares.

On the sides where the D-Pad and XSTC buttons are located will be the L/R buttons. To compensate for fingers #4 and #5, I am making an XBOX-sized grip to make things comfortable. This is what is taking the longest, because lathing the copulate out of tiny grips for these small fingers, then cutting it in half is just too much for this mold.

Now, because it is XBOX-sized, this means it'll probably be a good 3-4" tall. This will leave space for an opening CD tray on the bottom and space for camera battery(s).

Oh, and because I just realized I now need to build a vacuum box, I am figuring $13 shipped out the door.

Isn't it kinda big on the bottom? According tot he size of the LCd int he pic, the board would only go down alittle further,a nd the Psone system guts only a bit further prolly... I was intrrested until that pic...
