Coloured LEDs ;)

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

Coloured LEDs ;)

Post by blackbox_dev »

So, what if I did the LED mod using coloured LEDs instead of white? Would the display still be visible or would it completly wash out? I'm assuming everything would be shades of green though :P . I'm thinking it would be cool to make the screen look kind of like one of those green monochrome monitors on the Apple II. :)

Yeah, but it would look sweet if I could convert the color signal into monochrome, and then have a green backlight. 8)

Or jsut buy a verge screen! :P

I think every problem I could have ever had with a verge screen I've had.

And all I've done was the LED mod and disconnect it from its thingie majigger.
