Saturn controller ports to usb?

Post by Squalid »

Hey guys,

Question. Is it possible to wire Sega Saturn controller ports (Female) to usb/parallel port?

I'm STILL working on my SaturnPC after nearly a year and was wondering if i can use the controller ports and plug the controllers in.

Thanks.

Looks like the original saturn controller just uses 2 74hc153 multiplexors to get the signal, so if that's all you plan to use you can just use a few demultiplexors and a usb chip probably. If you want it to work with other controllers that don't use that setup you might need to make it with a PIC instead.

Your parent thought that iTunes was hacking software, so you're a hacker.
