Sounds like this is going to be one of the popular portables. You should try to hook us up with some pics of the progress.

Yes I have seen the pictures on the 1st page. I was originally designing a case very similar, but decided not to. (Dont remember why, though) . I can't wait to see it when you get it done. I hope everything works out great. Good luck!

WOO! nother update! final bondo applied and final sanding appx 50% complete, expect to be at least primered and ready for paint by sunday, perhaps totally done witht he portable (save some minor things) by late next week! i will post pics as soon as its primered! is the suspense just KILLING you yet? the most recent pics that a very few people have seen are from begining of march and i just have to say, this thing is looking amazing guys! its about as good as a frankencase gets and its been my longest build of a case to date, by my best extimate i have put near FORTY HOURS of work into this build! monumental time usage there, thats the one downside of making great frankencases, it taked a LOOOONNGGG time! :D i'll keep ya posted!

awsome! the heatsink looks a little covered up, you gonna give it some ventilation so it doesn't overheat?

two words. Good Job.
Keep it up! I cant wait to see it running. :D

The sanding could be better if you wanted it to win a contest, but I think it is excellent the way it is, because usually if something looks perfect, there is something wrong somewhere else.
