I pressed it once but locked my computer at that second. Talk about windows error. Vb_master would you write a soldering guide to go with the soldering 101 videos on there please

Maybe, I like the video more. Maybe if someone wants to write a transscript. Do you need the videos in a specific format?

i was thinking like a proper article on the basic, basics of solder, with like pictures of what your solder joints should look like and what they shouldnt, and how to hold your iron, and things like using a sponge and flux. nice big pictures that people can look at for as long as they want... thats what i was thinking.

i tried to find the pictures from the somewhat failed picture database project, but came up with nothing. does whoever is responsible for those want to get them set up to put on the wiki? theres a way to upload images right to the wiki, i just dont know how.

this might be an opportune time to call out once again for pictures of consoles we dont have yet. just upload them to an image host, and put them where they belong in the wiki (each system has a 'pictures' page)

i also want to see more people go to the wiki (http://www.benwiki.tk) and throw some info on there. what i said before was a good idea: intead of answering questions on the forum, answer them with a page on the wiki, then link to it.

im throwing up dozens of poorly written articles, i want people to get in there and make them better. thanks to those who already have.

Ben seems to be interested in the the project too. hes made more edits than anone else other than me.

Ummm..............thats actually me. I jsut shoved the account under that name with intent to hand it over to Ben. Just thought I would get it started first. I also made him benwiki@gptheatre.co.uk specifically for the wiki stuff. Also to upload a image just use the embed image button on the wiki editor then afterwards click the image it will say 'No image exists but you can upload one' and jsut do that.

notice there is a day between my posts thats why I didnt just edit it. A wiki cannot survive with people putting articles on it.
