Fixing two Atari 2600s

Well, could you tell me what I might be able to do to fix mine? I'v fallowewd Ben's instrucions on "making your Atari portable", and I got some red fuzz on the TV. But nothing else.

Did it work before you started?

If yes, can you send clear close-up photos or scans of the board showing what you've done?

In that case, there's really very little chance that I could help you with it on this forum. I need to have it in my hands to figure out what's wrong with it.

As I understand it, you have four options:
1. Find someone near you that you can take it to, to be fixed.

2. Send it to me for repair. This will cost you for shipping both ways (parcel post should be fairly cheap, especially if you just send the board and anything you've added), plus cost of any needed parts, plus $10. I also take Atari items in trade instead of cash - see my want list, linked from my sig.

3. Buy a working Atari portable from someone else.

4. Give up and either start over with a working console, or find a new hobby (
