ok your dream hand held!

i dont mean like a console made hand held just what you would like to have if you could build any thing you wanted. like some thing with your own board chipset graphxs hard ware screen controls every thing! what would it be like!

i would have 4"wide/3"normal screens (not touch screen like the DS) horisontaly mounted no folding parts. six action buttons track pad a rounded joystick (a real joystick it just looks like a hemisphere with a dip on the top instead of a stick) all wireless web browser video music player and the best most curent grapix card avalible and an atachable keyboard

how about a XBOX combined with a Dreamcast so you can play both Shenmue games and Halo on the same unit.

I would have a dual processor machine that could play DVDs, burn CDs, connect to the internet, run an advanced GUI, maybe a Linux distro, and the mouse would be controlled both by stylus and the actual gamepad(the user could decide).

It would also be capable of emulation on a grand scale, and maybe even have a large flash drive acting as a Hard Drive.

The OSes would be protected from viruses and permanent user changes with something called a "ROM Drive", which is a thought I've been entertaining for a while now...it would not stop users from making changes, but all those changes could be undone through that drive.

It would also have a small microphone and a video camera for visual chat.
Warranty-Voiding fun!

Mine would be a handheld that could play MP3, WAV, WMA, OGG. DVD. VCD, DIVX have a NES, Master System, Genesis, SNES, Playstation, Playstation 2, XBOX, Gamecube, Dreamcast, PSP and DS Emulators *takes a breath* and could surf the web and play all of my PC games I have created, or any PC game that would run on it, and it would be very small.

Somebody please buy my Dreamcast >_> £20+shipping :)

Well, unless someone came out with a dual processor laptop with a ROM Drive and a Gamepad that could replace a mouse, Laptops aren't quite there yet.
