hacking up a gamecube

could anyone tell me what part of the gamecube are not needed for a portable one? my brother gave me a broken one, but i think it's just the lens that needs to be cleaned. any help would be great.
PSp is about 70% done, just have to do the controller and case.

you can desolder all of the ports under the mainboard, and the port next to the video out port. You don't need both memory card slots, but you can keepn both if you want to. :P

do you think you could make something on paint or take some pictures?
