UPDATE: more work done, some sanding of bondo and adding of case components (controller ports and speaker grilles) and a test fit, i am amazed to say it is going together beautifully! this is BY FAR the best portable case i ahve ever done, course i have many hours invested now, will post more as it happens lol

Hey thats neat! Bondo owns... I really would like to see it once you get paint on there. It'll look great.
BTW, when i painted my N64p case, i had trouble with hte paint not going on well over bondo. If you have this trouble do what I did, use a couple coats of primer (Krylon is a good brand) and use a very fine sandpaper to sand the spots with bondo smooth. Then just use a color coat (and then a clear coat if you want extra shiny!)

That is lookin really awesome dude! Kinda brings my self esteem down when I see how much better that is looking than my first build that I'm working on right now!
Maybe I'll try using all that bondo junk on my next build to have more of a round case rather then the square brick I'm building right now.

not a whole lot of case progress (most of the sanding is done and just a wee bit of final bondoing to do before primer) but internal progress aplenty! my cut up and hacked to bits lcd still works! no sound output but crisp clean video! i have the controller (thanks gamer2) hacked up and fits, just need to wire it up and test it, the n64 is hacked and fits as it should, but most of the work will have to wait till the case is finished, i still have to cut heatsinks to fit and all the major wiring but its coming together quite well!
on another note i am starting to work on my snes portable again, with a beast of a frankencase, these take tons of time but can look fantastic (as you may see with my n64 soon) i really do need the lcd sometime in the next few weeks (ahem TT 1.0 lol) but it should be a very! nice looking portable when finished, and pretty damn small too! just need a controller to hack
