Half-Life 2 is great (disk cleanup story)

Post by vb_master »

I just downloaded and installed Half-Life 2 demo. It's great! I figured out how to enable the DevCon and I'm going crazy. Should I buy it from Steam (it's the full version is preloaded with Steam) or sound I just go to the store? I think I'll just buy it from Steam because I don't want to go to the store!

EDIT: I just realized that I only have 7GB of harddrive space left, so I'm going to hold off getting Half-Life 2. I'm not sure what is taking up so much space!

EDIT: here's how much space after a total clean sweep (step by step).
Disk Clean up (compress files, etc.) - up to 10 GB
Disk Clean up (remove restore points) - up to 11.9 GB
Deleted all podcasts - up to 12.13 GB!
Defragmentation - will post final results.

I'm running the Windows XP Disk Cleanup, and I've recalimed 2GB by compressing and deleting stuff.
