Sega Nomad Battery Life
Yes I know the battery life of a nomad is Horrible around 2 hours tops i think. I just bought some Duracell Rechargeable ACCU AA batteries and here are the specs : DC 1500 NiMH/1,2V/2300mAh Standard Charge 230mA for 16h. Now I have 6 of those in my sega battery pack on the nomad , any of you might know if i can get more gameplay out of these batteries , or did i just waste my money? Thanks

Oh, you don't even need to do that. Also, there isn't a 7805 inside...or at least I couldn't find it. But the battery life is much more than 2 hours, you just have to use decent batteries. The draw on the system is 7.2v at around 330mah. Using 6 AA's (that's how much you need to power it) at 2000mah+ you'll get much more than 2 hours. Also, if you use the official rechargeable battery for it you get about 4 1/2 hours (its a 7.2v 1600mah battery). Use a li-ion or li-poly battery and you can power it for 13 hours+ no joke.
