is there any way to kinda make your own Lithium ion charger for a NP 970 like maybe wiring it to a 7.2 volt rc batt charger. I really don't want to spend $60 on one :(

yeah, um... not a good idea. stick with the intended chargers unless you don't mind having a chared portable
