psONE lightbox question

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

psONE lightbox question

Post by TitaniumHamster »

Simple question everybody, how much juice does the official Sony Psone screen lightbox require to work at it's normal level? (Note, this is WITHOUT the LED mod.)

Yeah, the wire set that is connected to that thing with an "A" written on it.

Just the light itself (where those two wires are going) uses 2-6 mArms at ~690V. The inverter circuitry runs off of 7.5V and draws somewhere around 600mA (with the light turned up all the way).
