Do you really have to strip 48 wires, both ends, to relocate the cartrege slot? Is there an easy way so i won't waste an entire day stripping?????

Your teeth. You can use a scsi double male adapter an d some other jazz, but I always found solder and ribbon cable is the easiest.

I use my teeth 'cause my wire stripper sucks, but if you have a good stripper you can strip 48 wires in like 5 minutes.

I use the strippers on my pliers. Took me about an hour in total to move the cartridge slot. If you haven't soldered much before, make sure you practice on something else so you don't have to repeat this twice.

it helps a lot but if you get good enough then you should be able to work without it
