A GBA SP in a GB Pocket?

Post by Vote4Pedro »

I know this isn't the correct place in the forum for this topic, but I wasn't sure exactly where to put it...
What I was wanting to do is something like Cennar's GBOMG except to put a GBA SP into the body of a Gameboy Pocket.
Question- Can it be done? Question- Will it be really hard? Question- Will it cost a lot?
Thanks for everything!

This should be in 42 donchaknow. Anyway, no, it would not work, for the GB Pocket is too small, but the GBO would work, nevertheless, you'd have to fit in some extra buttons, and if you want it to look pretty get some lessons on bondoforming.

Anything is possible, and seeing how small the GBA SP is, it would be possible.

moverizing....

and it'd be a little difficult, since you'd probably have to reposition some buttons and the cart slot's on the bottom...but it can be done! check cennar's page (if it's still up, that is) for more info.
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

Luc your've very warm but off a little. The case he put the GBA SP in was a GBO. If you really want to see what it looks like there are two places. One is portablesofdoom.org where a pic or two of it are posted, the other place is at Cennar's site, a link to his site is in his profile.

I did some measurements, and you might have a little trouble with the screen fitting. It measures 7.3 cm by 5 cm. If you put that in a GBP case, you would have somewhere around 1 mm of free space on each side of the screen. You would have to mod the case to make all the guts fit. It would be very hard, but possible. A GBO would be better.
