SNES board smaller than a mini/jr

Hi. Although this is a dev-board, and so not available commercially, I thought I'd let you all know about it.

hmm... looks like it populated both sides of the pcb with ICs to make it possible, almost like folding a snes mini in half

That thing have ISA or PCI interface? I'm suprised to see something like that, simplely because dev systems for the 16bit systems were expencive and now impossible (or near) to find.

That would be impressive if you could get A/V out of it, connect controllers and find means to connect a cart slot. Though looking like that thing was put into a computer I'm guessing that you did nothing but program the game and later burned it to an (E)EPROM for a cartridge.

EDIT: That is a 16-bit ISA card, and the card has the SNES cpu and memory built onto the larger PCB, and it was made for testing out SuperFX code. That plugin module has the PPU chips on it and the graphics WRAM.

I can't tell if the SFX chip is actually a prototype that is in the form of the FPGA on there, or not.

EDIT 2: Crap, just read the article. Oh well, at least my guess was pretty darn close
