remote to turn on gamecube

i wonder if you could make a remote to turn on the gamecube or mod a controller. would this be possible? and what would i need to make this? and has anyone ever done this before?

well......you could do it. Take the power cables (inside the cube, the ones that are red and black that goto the switch, not on the outside) snap one in half and srip the pieces, and run wire to the controller ports (Or for wireless, get a transmitter box and hook it up and then build a reciver into the contoller) But for wiring, put an extra port on the side for the two cables (A female) and put a new port on the Gamecube controller (A Male) and make sure the wires are soldered to them. Then run the wires up the Gamecube controller's cable to the controller itself, open the controller, put a switch in, and wire it up with the wires. If you don't know how todo this then i wouldn't try. And as for wireless, i don't know if it's that easy to do.
