LED mod

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

Is it really going to matter though? I wanted to get this up and running as quickly as possible tomorrow... radio shack is 10 minutes away, frys is 40. So if I can survive with a plain white LED that would ROCK.

You can't use a 5mm led in there. Just no room. If you opened the lightbox up, you'd understand. There is a reason you can only use 3mm whites.
