There are two ribbon cables. DO NOT TRUST THEM! Desolder and rip them off, and wire the leads on each board together yourself and solder them. it will work better, and not break as easily
Well, for most Yobo users, it'd probably be sensible to do that anyway so you have added control in where the parts are going in the portamable (but maybe not *shrug*)
good point klefmung. for my yobo portables, i eliminated the controller board altogether. I wired the controller wres directly to the main board. I also cut out most of the power board too. I kept it because of the regulator though.

Can you show me your wiring? I really just kept it all intact. >_> Heck, I am so lazy I just soldered wires from my battery to ground and the lead coming from the +9v spot. should I just toss it onto the regulator?
