Camera

OK, so relating to my independant film

OK, so I have two batteries for my dad's Sony Handycam. One of them is the original Ni-cad NP-55H which holds 1200mAh of charge. However the battery only lasts for about 5 minutes before it dies. The other is the NP-98 which holds 3000mAH. I havn't tested this battery yet, but I have heard it is built with "memory effect free" technology. Is this true and is the batt still good?

Are you using one of those prehistoric cameras like mine?

Heres a picture of mine. So the 3000mAH batt finished charging and I tested it taping my dog and it works great!

Yours goes strait to VHS where as the other one goes to Mini-DV, thats why it's so masive lol. The VHS one actuly looks like a professional video cam and prolly cost a lot more than the Mini-DV.

Yay, my camera is actually cool! It is indeed a pretty nice machine, but time has worn her down. The battery holds a poor charge and the tape head needs cleaning often. Plus, after you record a video, the first 15 seconds or so are static as the thing warms up and syncs.
