DS On TV!

Post by goodie »

I just discovered that if you turn your tv to an unused vhf channel and get your Nintendo DS near the tv, you can pick up the DS's picture on the tv. It's really fuzzy and stuff, but I thought it was cool enough to mention. Perhaps someone would be able to make a device to grab this signal and boost it so you could play on the tv.

Wow, that's quite weird. Any VHF channel? That shouldn't be possible, I don't think... anyone else confirm?

that dose not quite make sense to me it I think it would send out data not non digital video wouldint it?

I think it might be the signal going to the screen is much stronger than it needs to be but that dose not make sence ether now that I think about it odd I have to try this myself

I knew that it had a wireless for multiplayer, but video??? How cool is that? Too bad the signal isn't stronger, now Nintendo can make you buy a DS Player for GCN too.

I'll be honest with you - I would have never guessed that.

Yeah, but it wasn't very clear. I'm going to try it on a better tv later, and see if it's any clearer.

Actually the picture was constanly rolling upwards, so it would show one screen, then the other, and so on.

Too bad that there is no way to stabilize the screen...That would have been cool even if it had shown only one at a time. You have to look at the touch screen to see what you are hitting anyways, so I guess it doesn't really matter too much.
