Stupid me!!!

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

Stupid me!!!

Post by geekbait111 »

Doh! I'm so stupid... I got an Intec PSone screen and it's around 8x7!!! And the sega is 5.1x5" :x ! So I need some advice what to do because I'm making the portable like the SP or DS, foldable.
A) leave it the way it is (and it'll look somewhat odd)
B) play with the sega dimensions (it'lll look really big though)
C) get a new screen and sell the intec (parents might be angry unless I earn my own moneys)
So... can anyone help me out please?

is that the size of the case or PCB? if it's big, take advantage of it and try to crap everything into the screen case

What's PCB?
edit: hmmm... I doubt there are any screens that are around 5x5 -6x6 so I guess I could just make something like a normal game boy advanced (same format).

Oh... in that case I havn't measured the circut board yet... I was just assuming it might be 1/2 an inch lower but it could be different so I'll measure that soon enough. So if it is much smaller I could make a custom built case (what I was thinking of doing already) and make it much smaller (maybe).
edit: nevermind about the smaller screen info that I deleted

oh, that's good :D . I can't get these 2 stupid screws out :x . But around 2 inches of the case are the plugs to the PSone and the hinge... What should I do with the useless plugs?
