Anyway to Block a program?

I have a Virus called SpyFalcon, Its a Virus Scanner that re-installls itself upon start up, and every 5 mins, And it keep trying to make me pay for it.

Is there a EASY way that i can block this program from installing onto my computer?
Or
Does anyone know how to get rid of spyfalcon?

Well, if its that annoying, just Buy it, then kill it. If you must, do a whole system restore to make your computer the way it was when you bought it. If you do that, don't forget to burn your important docs and stuff to a cd or a dvd

I would But everytime I search on google, My computer Freezes, Probably another Virus.(Im on my Old Computer that Im cleaning out.)

Do that, or if you want to get rid of everything real quick, format and reinstall Windows.

One easy way to get at something that subborn is to boot into Safe Mode, and uninstall there. I've never really had this problem, but as long as you delete the source (what you downloaded) and the installed files, it should go away.

I've seen this bugger before. It's a pain to remove, but possible.

Just follow the instructions on the page vb_master linked.

Then install AVG Antivirus ( free antivirus with free updates http://free.grisoft.com/doc/1 ) and Ad-Aware.

Run both the utilities you just downloaded.

Then go to http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/ and run their utilities to purge all kinds of stuff. (HijackThis! is great. It lets you delete lots of BHOs and stuff like that.)

Now go into MSConfig (type "msconfig" in the Run box or a command prompt box) and go to the "StartUp" tab. Disable anything that looks suspicious (blank names, strange characters, etc.) Save the configuration and restart.

The machine should be clean now. To keep it clean, go to www.mozilla.org and install Firefox 1.5
