Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

Is there a guide for installing the buttons to the portable? Something thorough and complete?

Not really... It's not too hard. Either use serveral pushbuttons or use the copper contact ones in the controller.

One end goes to ground, the other goes to the button's contact.

I saw that, but it wasnt much help since its not very well labeled...Can someone label it or get a better one?
