where to find B&W lit screen?

I picked up a timex sinclair 1000 at a second hand shop
its a funky little 80's comp.
the whole unit is only 7" x 6" x 1.75" 12oz its practically portable to start!
minus the powersource and cassette deck for memory storage

the ts1000 only outputs B&W, so i was wondering...

what options are there for a 6"ish B&W backlit screen out there?

use a 5" psone screen

the psone screen is always an option,

i guess i was just hoping there may be a cheaper monocrome one
maybe from a source like this

By looking at the internal circuit board, it looks like it uses an RF modulator. Is there a composite video jack on it (RCA-type plug)? If so, you can use the PSone screen. If there is only the RF modulator, you'll have to use a pocket TV.

its an old school item. has output just like an atari2600

so no built in coposite video, only has the RF out from what i see.

I guess i was hoping for someting like a TI graphing calculator screen

One time at radioshack i bought this thing that let me hook up my Intellivision to tv via Composite....I dont think it was the same output tho. They have RF adapters out there........

Its not that i dont appreciate something old... its just why would you choose that? At least choose something that can do something other then give you the output of 2+2...
