Noo the penguins well conquer use all!

That's a cool case though. You don't see any cases like that made in mass quanity. I wish I had the use and money for such a computer.

The full desktop versions are, yes. You can even run a lot of Windows programs (not a lot of intense games though) through extra programs. There are one- and two-disk floppy distros, but they'll only give you a command shell (sorta like DOS)

If you want to try it out, download the Live CD Knoppix. http://linuxiso.org/distro.php?distro=44 It has a full desktop and seemingly limitless programs on the Live CD. (you can put it in your CD drive, boot from it, play around, browse the web, use programs, then reboot from your hard drive and it's like nothing ever happened) If I remember right it comes with a bunch of games and programs like AbiWord and OpenOffice.

But if you plan on doing a hard drive install of some distro, I suggest you go with something like SuSE.

Does knoppix Live CD have that Tux racer game (like snowboarding only you control Tux)

i think it does but i havn't used knoppix in a while so i'm not sure
