Yup, a Podular GameCube. Now, when making a GC run off bat's, what do I need to know? Just splice the R/C bat onto the Power cable? Or something internal? I haven't done a new portable since last summer, and that was my NESP, the MPSoneM ran off a pre-made bat...
Shhh! I'm not officially back yet.

Possitive, obviously!
12 Volt, 4.5mAh works well though.

power is pretty straight forward once you open it up. there is a red wire and a black wire attatched to the power switch

So I have to open it? Darn, that means I need a gc screwdriver now. Any ideas on what battery is good? right now, I have a Ni-Cd 700nAh 9.6V bat...

you're right it won't work but that's because the voltage is too low. the mah (capacity) has nothing to do with whether or not it'll work, just how long it will last

Harshboy, i see that you're buying the 4500mah battery. i think that it's a little big, for my case at least. The lowest you should power it is at 12v 3000mah. Any less mah and you won't get a very long play time.

Any links to good batteries? It doesn't have to be a cheap one, as long as it won't explode and gives me a good 1-3 hours of bat. life or so. This is, of course, without any form of screen, just video out to a television. It's more of a case meld with a controller than anything else.

they draw around 1.9A, I believe....last time I checked they did
.
so a 3Ah battery would give you around 1.5 hours of battery life.
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!
