I tried to hook up the screen, but I ran into some problems. When I desoldered the black wire from the motherboard of the FB2, I wasn't sure what to connect to it. I also did not know where to connect the ground on the screen or how to get 7.5 volts to screen. Can anyone help me wire this thing?

Attempting (the first?) Atari FB2p
Ok I got a Flashback 2 for Christmas and now I am attempting to portablilize it. Trouble is, I don't know if anyone else has ever done it. I once tried a handmade NESp, but it didn't work. Therefore, I am using its leftover screen and batteries.

There's a bunch of places where ground is connected. Video ground should have been wired to the black video cable, and should also be connected to audio ground, I'd suspect (there should be a common point somewhere). I doubt the board itself has 7.5V. It has 9v and 5v using the default power connector. Since you're portabilizing it though, you could just make the unit run off of five AAs instead of six, and connect those directly to the screen as well as to where the power input is. 7.5v should be good enough for a 7805 or whatever it uses for 5v conversion.
Ok I got the screen powered using my RC battery, but it wasn't showing anything.
I connected the video out to the spot wehere the yellow wire was and audio to the space where the white wire was. i connected a white ground wire (on the left side) off of the screen to the spot where the black wire was. Right now for the screen connections im just going by the book.
Sorry if I can't be more specific, but I might be able to get pics up tomorrow.
