A while back he was working on the DreamcastAway, but scrapped the idea. It now lay in his Closet of Lost Dreams/Portables... His would probably be almost as 1337 as dkap's, but like I said, he stopped working on it due to power problems... Too sad, too sad ...

I'm sorry, if I understand correctly, you just mean you want to run the DC of batteries? If so, then it'll be more complex than simply finding the right battery. A Dreamcast takes 3 different voltages: 3.3v, 5v, and 12v if I'm not mistaken. You'll either need DC-DC converters to get all of those voltages, or you could use a Gamecube power board. It outputs all the correct voltages.
