I suppose you want to become the mayor of New York as well?::DROX:: wrote:I want to make a portable dreamcast
If he is, we'll know in good time. Currently, I don't know of any plans by Ben to make one.::DROX:: wrote:if benheckc is making one, is he?
By the way, for future reference, you really don't want to get logic-bashed by me. I think a lot of others can vouch for that. I'm already warmed-up... don't make me have to logic-bash you
Yeah, you really don't want to be logic-bashed by Marshall. I've seen what he can do...He's uber-intellectual.
I'm sorry, if I understand correctly, you just mean you want to run the DC of batteries? If so, then it'll be more complex than simply finding the right battery. A Dreamcast takes 3 different voltages: 3.3v, 5v, and 12v if I'm not mistaken. You'll either need DC-DC converters to get all of those voltages, or you could use a Gamecube power board. It outputs all the correct voltages.thanx, now I'll try ANOTHER idea...is there some way to replace the power supply with an Ni-Cd or NI-MH battery?
