@ daleighan I simply bought a couple of mini pcbs from radio shack and desoldered the analogs from the controller and desoldered the button pad section from the analog main board and resoldered IDE cable to the buttons from the controller board. I had to make a custom pinout for the buttons because I have a strange model of the official Playstation controller that I have never seen before.
@Kyosho I don't know, I haven't measured it yet.
@daguuy like i said it's "almost finished" I am actually working on the d-pad right now.

It has a 1600ma RC car battery that runs it for approx 45mins-1hr, not great but I didn't have much money when I was battery shopping.

I assume the button below each analog stick is Start and Select. So..uh..where's the shoulder buttons? Perhaps you haven't put them in yet.

you are correct. start and select are under the analogs and the shoulder buttons are not installd yet. there is a hole for the analog button under the start button but the pushbutton switch that was in there was defective and I haven't gotten to radioshack yet to get more.

im assuming all you people have big hands? Because that thing is atleast twice as thick as my GCP, and i have trouble holding it......i'm thinking of a cool idea...no wait, i lost it

I have mammoth hands. It's really not as thick as it looks. I will be selling it when it is finished and I am looking to get in the $200-$250 range. anybody interested?

You really think some one will pay that much for it? Er..I'm not asking because I think yours is bad. Just..will some one pay that much for a portable PSOne? I was thinking of selling mine once it is in a new case and fully functional. I didn't think I'd get more than $100-$150. Hmm.

one dude offered me $200 for it about a month ago before I was even near this close to finishing it, but I haven't heard from him in a while. but then there was tis other guy who said he would give $250 for a psonep

UPDATE: I have encountered a problem with my analogs. as soon as I push the analog button the camera starts spinning around as if I were tilting the analog all of the way. does anybody know what is wrong with it. I have already checked for shorts and there are none. please help
EDIT: I do have the d-pad put in now by the way.
