I soldered the video on my NOAC to the video on the psone screen. I then touched a wire from the ground on my NOAC to the ground on my PSone screen. Lo and behold! IT WORKED! But then when I put the solder on to keep it there, and triumphantly tested it again. the screen turned on, then colums (sp?) on the screen turned different colors, after which turning black, nothing working on it anymore. I tried the bypass in the FAQ, but no luck. And it does the thing with the collums and the colors every time it is plugged in. any fixes for it? or not?

Doesn't sound fried, sounds like there's a problem with the input itself, AFAICT, the fact that you get columns at all proves it. Check all your connections, 1 by 1, maybe there's something stuck inside the connection making it short. Also, make sure none of the connections are touching...

Well, I removed them, and even before with the composite video in cut, it worked direct with a psone, so i tested that again, and no luck. >_< But I will check it over, even though I removed the wires, there might be excess solder somewhere.
edit: I gave it a good examine, and I found nothing at all wrong. *sigh*

You may have kept another connection soldered together, if this is on the back of the PCB, then well, check if there is anyother solder in other pins. Also, what kind of battery are u using?

I haven't added the battery yet. >_> I am currently running off of AC adapter power. =0
