. However, I do have one question for you; are you making Ben's hand-built case from the book? If so, you may run into some "problems" you may want to know about

Well I was going to make the hand built case from the book but after 4 hours of driving from hardware store to hardware store and not able to find the size 4 spacers/screws I've decided I'm going to have to somehow make my own. I've got a sheet of plexi in the garage and 3 sheets of that engraving plastic... So I was just gonna try and make a box shaped case.

Hmmm... okay, that's probably good. Ben's hand built case is filled with all sorts of problems. If you really don't want to make your own case for real, a great second option is a project box. here's a link:

These can be found at your local radio shack. there is another website www.pactecenclosures.com. I don't know if the cases are big enough, though. Also, there is one thing that may not work with the radio shack box, and that is the fact that the PSOne screen may not fit. make sure you bring the hacked screen with you to radio shack and see if it fits. if not, you can always just notch the ABS plastic and cover the exposed pc board with electrical tape, then engraving plastic.
