Simplest portables

Post by Cyberblade »

After my frying incident with the SNES, I'd like to know, what are the easiest consoles to portablize? I was considering my Dreamcast at one point, but after reading the doom portables page, I'm pretty sure I never will attempt it. Especially after looking at that battery diagram. So, what are the easiest consoles to portablize?

2600 IMO, although the NOAC on the power/mega joys help quite a bit. A good rule of thumb is that older systems are easier to get the batteries going, and video is as well. Just don't bother trying to portablize an Atari 5200, those are bigger than XBOXes

I'll be honest with you - I would have never guessed that.
