Powering a PS2 and PsOne Screen...will this work?

I'm not shooting for a "rea" portable unit, but one I can keep in a small zipper case. Anyways, I bought this battery http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product. ... 9999999997

It can power a PsOne and screen for up to 4.5 hours (yeah, I'm sure) I just can't figure out if it will power both the new PStwo and a screen. I don't know what the power requirements are for the two, and I don't know what that power pack is putting out - it doesn't say anywhere on the box.

In addition to this, do you guys have any other ideas for power, in case this doesn't work? I see that the laptop battery works well, and this is a beast compared to that, so I am thinking it will work, but I have no real knowledge about this sort of thing, and that's why I am doing it - to learn a little bit.

Dont bother using it for the new PS2, the new PS2 needs 8v or 8.5v to run. If you try and use the PSOne battery pack you'll end up being ~1.2v short. Ben bought a DVD player battery form Walmart for around $50, it outputs 9v and has a capasity of 5400mA.

Well I got it to work, the biggest issue is the PSone monitor has to be taken apart to get the pass through power to work. Right now I am using an annoying 12 feet of cable (just to test it) because the board that accepts the PS2 signal is so long that it runs into the power.

Can I remove the TV out from that board? I think that will give me enough room. I'd like to just cut the board there, and just leave the headphone, video in, and PS2 plug on there, but I am guessing just chopping parts of boards off is a bad idea.

I'll scroll through the boards to see if there's a good way of hooking the monitor up, but if anyone has an idea, I'd appreciate it.

I've got the PsTwo, the battery and the monitor all together in a CD case. It's one of the smaller ones that hold two on a page, and it all fits nicely. I am thinking of just stitching the screen into the inside of the case, along with the speakers, but I need to worry about getting some more permanant connections going.

you cannot use the ps2 plug with dvds or dvd games cause it takes rgb in and that turns everything green

But the new PS2 uses a flip top that makes it easiet to trick into thinking that nothing it being violated, so you could just RGB just be sure to use that trick to make it think its ok.
