vacume casing/other plastic stuff

Isn't there a risk of plactic poisining from the melted plastic? How do you prevent the toxins?
edit: or how do you get protection?

Nope, when you vacuum forum, the plastic smells a little but it's nothing to worry about. I'd be worrying more about burning myself that the "toxic" fumes.

hm... how do you get ventellation? My parents (particulary my mother, I'm only 13) are VERY strict with this stuff(toxins). Either: A0 I can't melt plastic or B) I can melt plastic with VERY strit saftey stuff. So does anyone have any tips for saftey?

The main question is: how hot can the radica get? (higher than 140 degrees F)

it will probably get that hot if you leave it in the sun in the summer.

im not very familiar with the redica, but if it has a voltage reg in it, you might want to just do a test run and see how hot it gets. because thats that part that would get hot.

Wait... I just relized that the radica doesn't play every game... so I guess I am using the sega v.3. But what's stupider is I don't have a thermometer that goes past 105F

. Can someone tell me how hot a sega 3 gets, or atleast if it gets as hot as 150F?
edit: Also what would be a good base for the plastic to dry on... wood?
edit: forget those questions cause I doubt the Sega could get to 150F and I doubt I need a base for plastic just semi-good molding skills...meow

Weee... I've changed my case ideas tons of times... but this time it'll stay the same for sure!!! I'm gonna do vacume stuff cause I found a good site on the stickies, here
So... I'm confuzled about some stuff. 1) why is the holding frame, here
, made of 2 boards and it looks funny compared to this
???
2) correct me if I'm wrong but all the vacume does is suck on the bottom???
3) where do you find a heat gun cheaply?
