PS2P screen

i'm having trouble finding a good screen to make a playstation portable with (using the slim version) if anyone can give me the name of a brand, or a model type it would be greatly appreciated. and if you know the battery voltage that would be required to use a PS2P with that screen it will be helpful.

get the Sony PSone TFT 5" screen.

ebay, gamestop, EB, and maybe even people here will have it.

From my experience, Eb games and gamestop don't sell them any more

Why does everyone love the PSone screen so much anyway? Is it the whole "Ben Aproved" thing, or is it just RGB?

why does everyone love psone screens. i'll tell ya why it is a nice big screen that runs off a pretty great voltage, it is way simple and easy to wire up and the board is is small and thin

do you think a Gc screen would be okay for keeping my GCp simple

it wont make it any more simple, you are still going to want to hardwire it to the GC mobo, but that screen is made by intec and it may have different connections that will be harder to find help with.

i wasn't really thinking about directly wiring it to the board. i don't know how to connect the screen to the coard directly really. I've seen the gamecube pinouts, but don't understand them at all

does anyone know how many volts a 5in Verge gamecube screen needs. Also, can it hande 14.4v (using 2 7.2v batteries in series)

verge is exactly the same as psone screen, 7.2v-9v. 14.4v wil make it go boom

thanks. but how much thicker is the intec screen when compared to the psone screen.
