can the PSone screen work without the LED mods. Also can i run it without that mod (and the system) on 5 AA batteries?, what kind of battery life would i get??

How hard is the LED mod on a scale from 1 to 10

It can run without the LED mod.....it will just suck up way more power.

YOu don't have to do the led mod, but it does increase the battery life. As for the batteries, it depends on how many volts they have. If they're at least 1.5v each, then you should be fine

well yeah it works without the LED mod, that's what the backlight's for. on a scale of 1-10, i'd say 4 if you use 3 LEDs but 7 if you use 6. you need 6AAs to power it
