OMFG!!!!!!!! I HATE BATTERIES!!!!! IS THERE A WAY TO HAVE ENOUGH VOLTAGE AND MAH THAT ILL POWER THE HIP GEAR AND NOAC THAT IS ALMOST THE SIZE OF 2 BATTERIES?????? IF THERE ISNT IM GONNA GET MAD!!!!!!!

sure, I'm sure there's some way to do so, but not in any cost effective or practical manner. Well, actually, I suppose it might be possible with some kind of fuel cell, that would be fairly cost effective, but still not terribly practical, unless you've got access to a tiny fuel cell and some hydrogen. I guess you could build one yourself. Maybe a tiny nuclear reactor.

Actuall (well this is probably 'bout my NESp, so I should give a little input), I'm pretty certain that you can buy self contained, AA sized Lthium-Ion batteries on line for fairly cheap... I'll pull up a link

those are the same length as a AA battery, but I believe they are bigger in diameter. If he can use then though, great.

okay, they are longer too, but still, if they work for you, great

AA battery - ~1.97" long x ~0.56" diameter

rechargable LI-ION batteries shown - 2.58" long x 0.72" diameter

Well, you could make a pack with those, but...

You'll need a Li-Ion charger! You can't use a regular battery charger to charge lithium-based chemistries.

The last time I checked, these chargers were around a hundred dollars. You might want to keep that in mind before you buy a bunch of these.

you can build the circuitry to charge the batteries yourself for around $10, but you will need to figure out how to do that

My dad has a charger that charges all different kinds of Li-Ions... I think those'll work, but I'll need to examine 'em a little bit more

I was thinking of using those batteries. I cut out a piece of paper 2.6" long and rolled it against a ruler until it was .76" in diameter. These are A sized batteries and are pretty big. Luckily they're perfect for my project.

And some lithium ion chargers are relatively cheap. you acn get on off batteryspace.com for $20 US. but with the shipping it's clsoer to $40.

I'm sure if you looked around you'd find some cheap ones.

A question: Those have a protection circuit. Couldn't you just hook it up to a wall adapter overnight? It'd shut off the current once it's charged wouldn't it?
