A rather odd question...

Post by Fanboy »

How is it that I might be able to make a sort-of, transparent background for my avatar... Luc did it with Mr. Period, where instead of white you get the background color? Either way, this is probably only a temporary penguin until Totokan makes me my real one 8) !

Well you could try taking a screenshot a benheck page and then sampling the background color in paint or photoshop or what ever you use (the function is represented a picture of a dropper usually) and then just fill in the white area with the color you sampled (usually has the icon of a paint bucket).

Image

Not really transparent, but blends in with the forum.

Whoops, bottom half is still white. I'll fix it.

See, I have paint and ended up with what gamerfreak got! I want it so it completely blends with the background... If I can get that...

The problem with doing that is it will look just as bad if you wind up posting in a darker box.

There you go. The background is transparent on this one.

Thank you for all your help! I actually did the whole penguin in paint except the head, that is. I had to find another Tux's body that would go well with it, then get rid of all the kinks, draw the "M", and put it on the body!

Actually Tux is supposed to be this fat, if not fatter.

Yes, MaDnEsS, as a matter of fact, they do... Mean and Tux are stopping by for chicken sandwhiches and fries... He says he doesn't mind eating chickens, according to him, those cocky birds are full of themselves!
